Objective: The purpose of this course is to inform and equip students with a biblical view of justice towards
current social and cultural issues.
Overview: This is an eight-week course that will focus on learning and discussing current social issues. The
class will explore the history & connection of minorities with politics. It will also focus on not just
surfacing issues, but how to heal them as the Church. Using a blend of biblical truths, historical
events, and prophetic insights this class presents the student with a holistic approach towards
learning about between biblical justice.
Christian Foundations
Objective: This course helps students establish and build a strong foundation by exploring core doctrinal
beliefs of Christianity.
Overview: During this course, students will be empowered to explore the core beliefs of their Chrsitian
faith. This class will discuss key theolgoical pillars such as salvation, sanctification, and Holy Spirit.
Students will learn through both teaching and discussion, as they are led to establish and stand
firm on their own faith.
Discipleship 102
Objective: This class is designed to equip students with practical tools that help them make disciples.
Overview: This is an 8 week course in which students will have both theory and practice on making disciples.
We will focus on the topics of Finding POP, Using and knowing the Shema, Learning to lead with
Invitation and Challenge and Multiplication. We will use practical examples and learning styles
each week.
Disciplines of Grace (Book Study)
Objective:Disciplines of Grace offers a clear and and thorough explanation of the gospel and what it means
to be a believer.
Overview: This is a book study of Disciplines of Grace by Jerry Bridges. This book explores how the same
grace that brings us to faith in Christ also disciplines us in Christ. In learning more about grace, you
also will learn about God’s character, His forgiveness, and the Holy Spirit.
Drawing Near to God
Objective: This course teaches students how to daily draw into intimacy with God.
Overview:In the Old Testament we watch the Israelites take a long journey with God through the wilderness
towards the Promise Land. On this journey we learn a very valuable lesson that helps us bond
with God. The lesson of “daily bread” is one that is overlooked too often. When the disciples asked
Jesus how to pray He showed them their need to “daily” depend upon the Father. This class will
provide content that helps us learn how to daily abide in God. The principle found in John 15:1-5
will be a guidepost for this journey. By the end of our time together we will have a better grasp of
what it means to daily abide in Him.
Fear of Man
Objective: The purpose of this course is to help students identify the common enemy of intimidation and fear
of man, and to uproot any false beliefs that keep intimidation currently active in their life.
Overview:During this 8-week course students will be taught, through biblical examples, how Christians are
often tripped up by Fear of Man. Through this course students will gain wisdom and understanding
in regards to the fullness of the Spiritual Authority they have in Christ. They will be equipped to
overcome fear of confrontation, a need to please others, and avoidance of conflict. These are
three main roots that cause us to surrender our spiritual authority, and forfeit our assignments from heaven.
Healing the Orphan Spirit
Objective: This course provides students with a biblical and practical guide to letting go of their orphan
identity and receiving their identity as a child of God.
Overview:Many of God’s children do not know the ultimate purpose of he Cross. At Calvary, we see an
invitation into intimacy with the Father. Jesus is the pathway to reconnection with the Father.
Building deep friendship with God starts with shifting our perceptions of who God says He is
and who He says we are. Many Christians profess God’s love for them, but scarcely live a life
experiencing His love on a daily basis. Students will be given a biblical foundation, as well as
equipped with practical tools, so that they can be awakened to the fullness of their identity as one
of Abba’s kids.
Jude - Lessons in Leadership
Objective: This course provides students with strategies on how to overcome divisions and disunity within the local church and marketplace.
Overview:This course is an 8-week in depth study into the book of Jude. We will explore 3 specific narratives
mentioned in Jude: Korah, Baalam, and Cain. Based on this, we will discover biblical and prophetic
insights connected to leadership issues that many face today. Whether you’re called to be a
marketplace leader or a pastor, this class will help sharpen your discernmet and prepare you to
lead through difficult situations.
Prayer 101
Objective: The purpose of this course is to help students discover the Father’s heart for prayer and
intercession.
Overview: This is an 8 week class to help students discover the Father’s heart for prayer and intercession.
Since our heart posture is very important in developing our prayer life, we will be discussing the
importance of intimacy and connection with Abba as the main fuel source of building a robust
prayer life. We will explore topics such as the power and impacts of prayer while equipping you
with practical ways to continually put oil in your lamp.
